    Default New Wapi Scales

After using one of my stock Wapi razors and realizing just how unbalanced it was, I decided to do a re-scale. The new scales are Chakte Viga and I used the removed scales for a template. Made a brass spacer out of bar stock and pinned it all together with brass rod. Finish scales with some tongue oil. This wood will darken a bit with age but will keep it's orange color.

Nice looking job, where did you get your star washers from?

not sure about the washers, stole them from girlfriend. Had to sand them in half to make them work.

Beautiful job! I really like the thin shape and color of the scales.
