    Default Disaster !!

    Hi everyone!

This is one of the things that make me want to seat down put the my head on a table and cry!!
I broke my first restored razor, during a shaving its fall from my hand and hit the floor with the point !
And this is the final risult ,a straight ready for the trash
I had rescued the mohogany scales and I will use for my next restoration.
I hope to be more lucky with this !!

I think most of us have had the same thing happen at one time or another. It goes with the territory and is part of the learning experience. We all feel the pain believe me!

    Default RESCUED SCALES AND STRAIGHT

    Hi everyone!
Thank for the good words friends, but i want to forget soon this bad experience.
So i immediately use the almost new scales for the next restoration.
I have posted some time ago a new thread about my bad purchasing in ebay.
I buy really a piece of junk thinking to make a good business, full of anger i start working head down to rescue the ugly blade and these are the results.
I literally regrinded the blade with a new point type and a other little changes and in my opinion i think i had fine results, believe me after all that work when stropping the blade start to singing!!!
I will use it as soon as possible ,and i post some pics so you can judge yourself.
