Box for seven day set
I recently bought a seven day set with a lousy box. I was going to restore the box and found the wood to be mediocre at best. Needless to say, the box restoration is not going to happen. Is anyone making boxes for the sets? I saw the one Dovo has and a few others, but they are a bit larger than need be. The box that came with the set is 6.75 x3.75 x 1.5". Any ideas?

Since the site went down there aren't as many posts and I can pretty much browse through everything. So, here I am. :-) How neat to have my name mentioned for this kind of work!
I am working on a 7 day design but it's not quite like this box. Not because I can't make one like it but more because I'm a goof who likes to try out new designs/challenges. On the other hand, I think there is interest in this kind of box and would be happy to make them. I've been looking for a good prototype and your box would be very helpful.
That said, Firebox, I'll make you a deal if you're willing. If you send me that box I'll build you one just like it and send it to you free of charge- as long as you let me leave off the red leather cover.
Thoughts?

PM on the way. I appreciate your generous offer to help out on this one. I like the size of this box better than others I have seen. I'm not interested in displaying them I'm more interested in storing them in between uses. I hate to live without the lovely red bonded leather cover, but if I must, I can.

Hey Chris!
I'm in the same dilemma! I have a 7day razor box that has a great interior, but the outside is falling apart.
Can you use the guts and make a new box around them?
I can't wait to see what you do with this one! Hopefully, I'll be the next kid (but the one paying)
Can't wait!

Hi C Utz. If you could post pictures of the box (int and ext) I could hazard a guess. :-)
Thanks!
