Unfortunately, it's not an irc server with a port for irc clients. It's just a flash application that works with the forum software - all text based and mainly CPU intensive on the client side. It looks like it's probably an easy way to keep bandwidth needs to a minimum and without having to install any software.

IMO (mine only!) I wouldn't mind if a efnet .org channel were setup - Lynn could take ownership of it, and it wouldn't take any bandwidth or space on the SRP servers. Of course, then the chat would need to direct to the webspace login for efnet.org and those of us with irc clients could simply use that client...

I had the chance to stop by; great ideas and some funny shate thrown in!

I may nit have much to add (other than a smart arse comment) but enjoyed it!

Yes same time same channel for the Tuesday night restoration chat....8:00 pm EST in the chat room...... Tons of great ideas have come up this week on the boards and in the chat room.. I noticed a lot of new people posting threads of their latest work, please feel free to come join us......Tuesday night in the chat, BYOB and this weeks project come set a spell and lets talk razors

Hope everyone had a good time at tonights chat, I have to apologize for not being there, but we lost power out here in the boonies until 11:00 PST
