I actually have a question to ask!! I mean, as opposed to just spouting BS all the time. Hope I have not screwed up the time zone.

Freenode Java applet IRC portal Just type in your s/n

Hey Bruce,

For my own curiosity more than anything else, could you try going to the IRC chat using the Mibbit web page. You have Java enabled, right?

Once you are at the Mibbit home page, select "freenode" from the drop down menu that says "IRC" (top box). Then type in the nickname you want in the "Nick" box (Bruce-srp or something), then type "#srp" (without the quotes) in the "Channel(s)" box.. Then hit the "Go" button and see what happens.

This just worked for me at the office - and the office blocks all IRC ports (6667??). Apparently Mibbit only needs port 80 to be open, and can connect to any IRC server you specify.

EDIT: By the way, according to Mibbit it supports the Wii. S all you Wii guys out there who are connected to the net can chat on your telly!! I'm going to try that when I get home.

I'll see if I can decode what you all have suggested. You need to understand that when I turn on my computer I have set sail upon mare incognita. I know not where I am nor how I may have gotten there.

Java is something I'm famililar with; I drink it in the morning to assist in the wake up process.

Unfortunately, lost is a well known and oft frequented address for me.

I have removed the flash chat link as it appears that the cave is closed for good. The link to the IRC chat area remains

Restore Chat in about 1 hour at 8:00pm EST join in tonight but be warned I was doing taxes all day so I might be bit_ching a bit
