    Default Sheffield Rescue

I knocked out this generic Sheffield 6/8 extra hollow ground this afternoon for Fallout55. I sanded enough steel off it to almost make it a singing blade. It came out great and it honed out beautifully! It shave at about a 9 or 9+. I put in an adjustable pivot pin for grin and giggles. Microscope shot is the edge at 60X.

    I love your tag line!
Thanks for the comments. It is quite the adventure getting things launched. I'm doing a very good business apart from SRP. My best stuff is on here where the folks are who appreciate and know quality.

ahaha... thanks mate, but i cant take credit for it...

Its a quote originally attributed to Frank Nitti... who, I beleive, worked as a barder when he first immigrated to the US from Sicily.
He kept his razor handy when he changed professions and used it to great effect to help people with their memory.

Either way... it struck me as a profound piece of advice.
