    Default Restoration supplies in Europe

    Hi!

I have searched the forum, and I might still have missd it, but I wonder where I can get pins and washers in Europe (or maybe shipped at decent price from the US).

I recieved this blade without scales as part of an auction lot and thoughtI'd have a go at making scales for it. I have ordered Bill's CD and Lynn's "World Of Straight Razor Shaving DVD", but I don't know where to get the bits 'n pieces.

Sorry if this has been asked and answered before.

http://www.microfasteners.com/ ships washers, screws and nuts fast (about a week) to Europe, just remember to ask them for nutdrivers, they can't be found on their site. See this thread: http://straightrazorpalace.com/showthread.php?t=15896

    www.microfasteners.com for the washers.
I don't know if they have brass rod stock as well, but you can also ask one of the US based members here to buy you some in their local hardware store.
It costs virtually nothing in the US.

I also got 1500 and 2000 grit sandpaper that way.

Also, if you buy 1/16" brass rod, also buy a couple of 1/16" drill bits.
You can use a 2 mm drill bit for the pivot holes, but for other purposes you need a tight fit and then then you need the 1/16 drill bits.
