Restored Sheaf Works Lip loper
I did this restore for a member. It's a 6/8 but it's huge. The horn scales were bug and worm eaten but I repaired the majority of the bug damage with CA. It should shave fine. I think Sweeney Todd might even like this one.

Using CA on horn it helps to use something to rough it up a touch. In holes I'll use a Dremel brush. The horn will let some fibers loose and this acts like rebar. I will apply the CA in layers and use accelerator between. When it's hard I'll shape it with a Dremel and 1200 W/D paper. It's hard when dry but it sure works.
