Default Torrey, Spalted Myrtle + Tang

I had this razor on the bench for awhile. It had MOP on the tang, but half of was missing on the back side. I use a piece of Spalted Myrtle for the scales and the tang. Pinned the tang with stainless and the scales with brass. The spacer was made from a piece of the original scales, it sort of a dark green semi-translucent color. Finish is CA and the wood is stabilized.

    They all look amazing!

But I think this one is my favorite, since it has two features I've thought of restoring my self....The covered tang, and the Torry-style scales with the holder-clip!

    Great work!

P.S. The bulls-eye pins on your other blades....do you make them? Just curious. I'm only at the dapping block and stealing bulls-eye collars from old blades level

That's really nice matching the tang and scales! Especially with that Myrtle!

The spalted myrtle is impressive enough, but the covered tang sends that razor over the top. Very nice!
