    Default Adhesive question.

I hope this isn't too dumb of a question for my first post. I have a Case's Ace that the emblem has come off the scales. Is there any certain type of adhesive you guys would suggest I use to re-attach it?

That isn't a dumb question at all. We can both wait for the answer.

I would try Duco cement, it is cellulose nitrate based which is basically what celluloid is. The Duco sticks well to both celluloid and metal. CA or epoxy would also work but they would not be my first choice.

Thanks! I went to the hardware section of a local store and the selections ranged from "super" glue to "gorilla" glue. I bought this razor after I saw a post on the Shave of the Day (?) and thought it was a nice looking razor plus I have a few regular Case knives I collect. When it arrived it had a little bit of green tarnish around the emblem and I took a pin to see if I could scrape it off and the emblem just popped right off. It has been sitting in my razor box ever since.
