I'm almost done with a new set of scales for this razor--yellowheart, CA finish, buffalo horn spacer. It's going to look pretty sweeeeeet.
For all the razors I've worked on, I haven't really done anything nice for myself. This'll probably be my favorite razor for a while.

Get us some new pictures when you rescale it. That is one damn fine razor though. Like the other guys said, get comfortable with it soon so you can take orders. :-P

As requested, here's the finished razor.
Using this one and trying to fit scales to it has taught me a few things about blade design. For example, the monkeytail and tang are too short on this one. And that little bevel on the side of the tang where the blade and tang join... Yeah, that has a purpose. It lets the razor slip into the scales properly without wedging them apart.
The scales are canarywood finished in CA, and the spacer is buffalo horn.
I've been using this razor for the last two weeks, and it's held up well. Be on the lookout for some handmade razors in the BST forum sometime in the next few weeks....
My plan right now is to not take orders, but just make what I can make and sell them as I finish them. The idea of a waiting list doesn't appeal to me just yet.
