    Anyone know a source for pins?? Fixin to do a re-scale on a razor.

    Ace hardware 1/32" brass rod. Use a ball peen hammer and an anvil or the head of another hammer for the base to peen over the ends.

    It's actually 1/16 brass rod. There is also a thread
    somewhere about adjustable pins using small
    machine screws and nuts, I think 0-80. I couldn't
    find any 1/16 rod locally so I ordered a three
    foot piece from onlinemetals.com. I got the washers
    from Micro Fasteners. Check your local hobby
    store as people here seem to find the supplies you'll
    need there.

    Classic Shaving also sells Dovo replacement pins if
    you're only looking to do a set. I bought a set and
    I think they look kind of cheesy. I'll never use them.
    If you want them let me know and I'll send them to you
    and you can decide whether you like them or not.

    Thanks guys..I was kinda thinking about going the brass rod direction.. I've done a few knives like that. Thanks for the replys!

    do a search for this guy rose789pipo on ebay he sells some nice pins and is very good to deal with.
