    Default Horn Repair

What glue works best to re glue a broken (as in two pieces) horn scale? Being that I'm dealing with an actual "snapped off" piece, how do I go about clamping the two ends together?

I don't think any glue will handle the job. Your best bet would be to line the scales with a thin piece of brass or other metal. Epoxy the horn to the metal (both scales) and then shape the metal to the horn. Put a little glue in the joint between the break as well. Clamp every thing well while the epoxy dries. Those spring paper clips that you use in offices work well.

Kyle gave you good advice. You may even want to make 2 even cuts and inlay a matching piece of a different materials to make it look good
