    Default Three restores

Two gentlemen from B&B asked me to restore some blades for them and post some pictures of the process. Since B&B doesn't deal so much with restoration and such, I decided this would be the best place to post these. The process I use is not that much unlike that which many of the restorers here use...

The blades are from my bank of ebay grabs, the scales are walnut and bird's eye maple from blanks I ripped and planed myself. I have tons of blanks left if anyone wants some.

As we speak, the scales are undergoing a second coat of gloss polyurethane. The blades have not yet been restored.

Pictured: The three blades next to the new scale blanks, The blanks after cutout, the blanks after shaping.

More pictures to follow as work progresses.
