    Default J Rodgers Hollow Ground 7/8 With custom scales

    This J Rodgers 7/8 hollow ground has custom scales with a German silver shepherds cross. J Rodgers are one of the best of the old Sheffield makers,and this razor is an exceptional shaver,it was made sometime before 1890,and the blade stamping is particularly nice.The black spot on the blade at the bottom of the N is just a grease spot.Melissa(my wife and photographer)has promised to do better in the future.This razor will also go on sale with the other bunch in a few weeks,I am going down to Belize for a few weeks of fishing,and dont want to put them up for sale till I get back.I know tis one looks a lot like a W&B 6/8 I posted a few days ago,but a few guys said they like those scales,so I made some more.Best regards Gary
