    No...to bad Kasperitis

This one stays with me, I king a took a liking to it and after my shave this morning I made him a special place in my razor drawer. He's got eight good friends now.

Hey Jacques, this may sound wierd, but was Hull renamed to Gatineau? I just did a search for Hull to see how close you were to the city, and Google Maps puts me at the city I knew as Hull, but it shows the name Gatineau. What gives?

I have a 5/8 Henkels that came with a W&B I bought on eBay, and there was a chunk missing from the toe. I read your last post on shortening the blade, and I took my time last night and made the cut. Thanks for posting the info.

Now I'm at the polishing stage, and I have to say I hope mine looks a nice as yours when I'm done. Strong work on that razor!

For Tulip...let us see your work when you are done.

For Kasperitis....Hull as change the name to Gatineau. They regrouped several small cities under the Gatineau name.

Laval is about 2½ hours drive from Gatineau (Hull) Hull is pretty in the spring with all those tulips (no pund intended Tulip) all over the city. It is worth going (in may I think)

And it would make a great shaver for this;: http://straightrazorpalace.com/showthread.php?t=17384

Wow. Stellar craftmanship. I can't even tell it wasn't made as short as it is.
Perhaps this "shorty" could fit as a nice (and I can't emphasize the word "nice" enough) travel shaver?

That depends on how it looks!

No offense taken. My moniker is an acronym, not a flower.
