Thanked: 4942Thanks Guys!!!
I have not been in this section for a while, but after going through it tonight, I can only sit here in amazement of how much talent we have around this place. You guys are without a doubt fantastic craftsmen. I just keep seeing more beautiful work from you every time I do get in here.
To every one of you, THANK YOU for your all your contributions. Please keep up the most excellent work. Your willingness to share with the rest of the membership is what makes us who we are.
Much appreciated!!!
Lynn

It's a blast sharing ideas and achievements with peers. I'm always amazed at how much know-how is floating around here and how much I've learned about materials and techniques. Everyone has something to contribute (if nothing else we can share what NOT to do).
Furthermore I'm astonished at the amount of sharing and generosity with respect to ideas, materials and teaching. The only competition is the healthy type that breeds new designs, techniques and styles.
SRP is hands-down the best forum for restoration around.

What I love about this aspect of straight shaving is the number of blades being put back into circulation for us, our sons and their sons. When I can take something destined for the trash heap and make it shiny, sharp, beautiful and functional, it's really a nice feeling.
