Thanked: 14Bartmann restoration
Hi all,
i'm fairly new to all of this and this question has probably been asked already a zillion times but how do i clean up an old "rusty" blade WITHOUT losing the etching? The inscription on the blade says High Class and i'd like to keep that if possible.
Also: i'm not quite sure what kind of blade this would be..it seems pretty big compared to some others i have lying around but i'm not sure about those either
i'm guessing a 6/8 maybe 7/8

I know this blade. This is not an etching, this is stamped in the steel. So you not will have problems to loose it, if you sanding the blade.

This is a fantastic razor and it could looking wonderfull. The only special is, that it is a little tricky to sharpen. This is why it is from Manganese Steel.
