    Default W&B Hollow 5/8 w/ Spalted Maple

Here's another W&B that after hours of cleaning and polishing the blade, finally got a new pair of pants. Scales are Spalted Maple, with CA finish. Brass spacer, pins and bearings. Oh yeah, that is a dent at the pivot on the backside... oops. Anyways, this one will prolly make my rotation.

Those scales are some of the purdiest I've seen here at SRP.

Is that outline actually part of the wood grain or are you doing some fancy joining together of different cuts of the same wood?

At the risk of sounding like a toady, your scales - and the overall look of the razors wearing them - are always top-notch.

Spalted wood is wood that has actually begun to decompose. Fungus in the wood adds beautiful figure, as these scales clearly show.
