Is this one worth the effort?
At the risk of sounding redundant (I see a lot of these threads), here is a razor I picked up at a flea market on Sunday. It was very cheap, and I'm addicted so I couldn't pass it up.
There are no identifying marks that I can see, and the blade is very tarnished. I have removed most of the rust using 320 grit sandpaper.
What are your thoughts? Is it even salvageable? Also, sorry for the bad pictures. I couldn't find our digital in the moving boxes, so I used my Mac.

She's in one peice with no major pitting....she ought to clean up and shave well with a little elbow grease!

It doesn't seem like a lot of the tarnish is coming off with the 320. Should I go to a lower grit or just press harder? OR just keep working at it for a while?

Look through the forums....I know there have been some threads about using sandpaper to clean up old blades. For myself, so far, I've just used MAAS and cleaned them up as best I could, leaving whatever patina didn't come off. I am considering sanding on future blades however.....

220 grit at the finest to begin. It will take a while. I personally wouldn't bother with that one considering the point looks like it has been ground and the blade edge seems a little funky. I also don't particularly like blades that look like that, so maybe it's just me!
