Hi I have a Ambalal 444 blade and made two sets of scales for it but when I assemble them I notice that the blade seems to go to one side. The holes are drilled very perpendicular (press drill).
After examining the blade I notice that it is bent. Form the tip of the tail and the tong it is straight then there is a slight bent from the end of the tong to the tip of the blade. The blade is not curved just a small bent where the tong meets the blade.

Can I correct this. I'm afraid of prying the tong ever so slightly in a vise. I don't know if the metal would brake or crack of just srtaighten out. Does anyone had this experience and what is your advise.

Thanks
