    Default Ivory scale ?

What are some ways to ensure this split doesn't grow. CA? Epoxy?

    Ideas are appreciated....

Use thin CA. Try to get the crack as clean as possible and put a tiny amount of CA at the crack. You might check to see if you can flex the area before applying the glue, if you can then put the glue on, flex to get capillary action and wipe the area... FAST with a finger.

Although I haven't tried it, I know Gary has used fiberglass cloth and resin on the insides of Ivory scales to give an invisible yet stable liner.
