Default Beau Brummel Back to Life!!!!

This is my third Beau Brummel restoration, I keep finding them rusted and begging for help.... And who am I to say no to a razor
Gentleman I present a Beau Brummel #18 11/16 Spike point back to original condition... This one I used the old fashioned method of hard work, to get rid of all the rust and to bring back the blade... This my normal finish level for a working blade, which is what this will be, they are fantastic shavers every bit as good as their Dubl Duck cousins. I would call this, just one step below a mirror finish, I tend to like this better for my working razors, because I know the compulsive side of my personality would scream at every tiny scratch on a mirror finish This one still needs a bit more time on the hones before she is back to perfect shaving shape but that should not take to long...

    Wow, nice razor

The logo (man with tophat and a monocle?) on the side is absolutely fantastic.

There was yellow scaled Beau Brummel recently on eBay but it didn't have this logo.

Yes I was watching that one too, it was a re-scaled razor with FWE scales attached to a BB blade...
This is one of the reasons I don't pop pins unless absolutely necessary, as you can see on this one all 3 pins match... I try and keep all my vintage razors as original as possible, see the compulsive side showing....

Although I normally don't care much for this type of razor (shape, size, etc.) I really like this one! Great job Glen! Too bad now I'll be looking for one!

    Looks great!
Did you do any coloring to make the logo stand out? It really shows up well.

You'll notice some of the beau brummels say beau brummel razor Co like yours and others say beau brummel Werk. The ones saying beau brummel razor Co are the ones marketed exclusively by pearlduck. Many say jamaica 35 N.Y right on the tang and if you have the original box it will have the street address which is the same as the pearlduck address in Jamaica Queens, N.Y
