Thanked: 1simichrome/maas
im just looking to polish up my blades a little bit, can anyone point me in the right direction as far as what type of cloth or abrasive to use for that process? i took a linen cloth to it with some simichrome and i got loads of black goo off of the blades, but i feel it could be better. any feedback is appreciated. thanks!

I use MAAS and a soft cloth to hand buff and MAAS and a buffing wheel on the dremel. It works wonders! I found a tube of MAAS at my local walmart for like $3

Yeah if you have Lynns DVD he does that in there, thats where I got the idea from so he gets all the credit
Just be sure to use the dremel on the slowest speed so as not to heat up the metal too much. Just put a layer of MAAS on there and let it sit a minute and go to it with a buffing wheel on the dremel, polish with the cloth and asses your work and rinse and repeat if necessary. Thats what I did on this one http://straightrazorpalace.com/showthread.php?t=19336
