    Default Regrind needed?

    I bought this yesterday as some of you may have read and i was thinking of a regrind...thoughts and costs?

    Personally, I don't think you need a regrind here. You do need it restored (which you could try on your own), but the wear on the side of the blade that looks like heavy hone wear may just be evidence that it is a wedge. If so, when you hone, more of each side of the razor will obviously contact the hone, causing this effect. I have a razor that is restored that looks like that but shaves incredibly well.

    Got the razor today and it turns out you were right, it was a wedge. I think it's gonna turn out to be one hell of a razor once its restored, especially if i try out those corian scales that have been discussed.
