Default Bengall got its stripes back

I have been eyeing some Bengall razors and know of their reputation. So when the chance to pick up a couple came along I picked them up for a song. This one had old horn scales that were falling apart and the blade was quite ugly. I did some sanding and buffed it out (it is much shiner than in the photos) and mounted it in some Bacote scales. I used stainless blade bearings with nylon washer backing. I still need to finish honing it but it is already taking a nice edge. As ugly as the blade was when I got it, there is no hone ware to speak of, it looks new.

I am keeping this one, but I do have a French point Bengall in 5/8 (this one is 6/8) that I will be rescaling and selling. I just need to make more scales. I sell them off as fast as I make them.
