    Default DePew with wenge

working on this DePew right now. honed to hell prior to me getting it. however not looking to sell it. still working on my restores. worked with 2400 sandpaper to get rid of a couple of waterspots. then MAAS and the harbor freight tools dremel wannabee. the wood is wenge. i think that i will use a little zebrawood for the spacer with brass shims. i am waiting on an order from microfasteners for adjustable pins. i will finish with tung oil and then a couple of coats of CA. thanks to padron for loaning me his box until i sent it to him.

Those are some of the best shavers ever.I have a few of those and they are just great little shavers.Back a couple of years ago they were going on e bay for 150.00 in crappy shape. The balance is also great with that long monkey tail Best regards Gary

I'm loving that long monkey tail! It's going to look great with those scales, too.

I saw one (actually, like 3) of those for the first time this past weekend (Bill Ellis showed it to me)...has to be one of the coolest razors I've ever seen. It is now on my "must acquire" list.

Very nice rescale on that one, I love wenge, beautiful wood
