Default A really old Rodgers Tortoise Wedge

This razor was buried in a lot of junk. I thought why not and started taking the scales off the blade. Everything was so dirty and corroded I really couldn't tell anything about the razor. When I discovered that it was real tortoise I decided to do a full restore on the whole thing. It all came through just peachy. I put bullseyes pins in it with an adjustable pivot. It was a trail to hone but it came around. It's just a neat razor.

    Wonderful work Ken!
The scale work with the heavy work on the blade was really worth it..
It is probably better than new with the pins
Congratulations on such a great resto...and God bless you for keeping this razor in action

Now you got me anxious as to what that old (1850s?) EBRO is gonna look like. This is one beautiful razor

I keep changing my mind on the EBRO. I just cut up a big batch of various woods in to scale blanks. All of them would look great. I guess I just better "gitter done".

Nice work Ken. My Rodgers had very similar scales but they were broken - too bad because yours turned out very nicely. And that blade - WOW Whatashine!
