Henckels 7/8 Friodur Spanish point scalloped back polished out in lacewood
I got this one pinned this morning. It is a 7/8 Friodur Spanish point scalloped back that I did some sanding and polishing on. I mounted it in lacewood with a matching wedge using 1/16 brass rod backed with two washers. I used a base stainless washer with a brass washer over it for a decretive finish. I had to use a third spacer pin with a stainless spacer due to the width of the blade. The spacer pin is from the same 1/16 bar stock but with a single brass washer. The blade has stainless bearings with a nylon bearing back, I like how the blade opens and feels with the nylon backing.
I think it is one of the best I have done yet. Hope you like it Mike.
