Default Found a Red Imp 133 and c-mon at flea market -- need restore

Hey guys, this is pretty much a duplicate as in the Show and Tell but I really wanted to get an opinion so that I can go buy this c-mon if you guys think its worth it... I bought this red-imp and need someone to restore it for me. Here are pics.. The c-mon has a blade that has a big buldge in the tip, if you will. Looks like itd ruin the blade to try to even it out? Sorry its so blurry.. Other than that, its a lil dirty and would need a tumble and shine and to be honed, scales arent too bad...Old, and not too shiny but still pretty solid.

    C-mon

personally i would say no to the cmon... unless the scales are fantastic and you knew where to find a different blade needing original scales.
    Be just and fear not.

You could probably talk him down to a couple bucks since the blade is in such bade shape.. There was a guy, think it was gugi that came up on this really sweet Dorko at an antique shop for $6 and that razor would probably fetch well over 20 times that much.

I've never tried cleaning up scales though so I don't know how well those will clean up.

Just being honest here, ok?? No offense intended

As Jim already said the C-mon is done unless you want just the scales for the future..
I just finished a restore on a Red Imp, in way worse shape, "looks wise", but the edge was untouched, in this thread ....
The thing that I can't tell from the pics is, the spine and edge on yers looks to be wavy, if it is, the re-hone is going to be a bear, and is going to cost steel to get it back to straight.... JMHO here and what I see in the pics....
