Default Rust on blade in between scales

I have my first straight its a F.A. Clauberg 5/8 and it has some rust in between the scales in between the tang and spine. I was wondering what cleaners I could use that wouldn't ruin my blade I don't want to ruin my first razor the rust seems to only be starting. It hard to get in between the scales. Any advice? Also can any tell me what the F.A. stands for and any info on F.A. Clauberg?

I dunno much about cleaners...but, personally, I would take off the scales...sand off all the oxidation and rust, polish, and re-pin, and tuf-glide...
