Default what do you guys think

here's some pics of a Dubl Duck I just received. I'm wanting to use it as my first restore but I figured I'd put it on here for you guys to take a look at. Any pointers you can give me based on how it looks would be great!

Looks like a nice score. I'd probably keep those scales. Some MAAS and a Dremel on the blade should polish it up nicely.

Sure you want to use a DD Goldedge as your first restore? I doubt you would ruin it easily, but it's a nice razor. Anyway, depending on the rust, you might need more than MAAS if there is any damage from the rust. Definitely just clean up the rust first and see what it will need from there.

That's a nice razor! As Alex said, clean up the rust to see if there's any pitting or damage to the metal. Then just polish it out from there with some MAAS. The scales look to be in good condition...can't quite tell though.

Yes, looks pretty nice. get the rust off and some close edge inspection and you should have an outstanding razor. If the maas doesn't clean off the rust I would try my favorites, the cape cod polishing cloths
