WAPI pin removal
I have made some Wenge scales to fit the Wapi but have not removed the pins. Any suggestions about removing the stainless pins from this?

Dremel with a cutoff wheel. Just file away until the head is gone.

I just used a flat file. It took a minute or so.

Thanked: 3795It's really easy to remove a pin when you don't care what happens to the scales!

I use a sanding drum in the Dremel, grind off the top and use a punch and finishing hammer to tap the pin out. Or I just grab one and break it in half and cut the old pin out of the blade with snips.

Great idea to use a smaller cutoff wheel. I'll most likely be seen in the garage filing random metal objects until I reach the desired circumference.
