    Default Nice little girl

I have had this little razor sitting in my draw for a while ,I think they were called travel razors due to their size and rather dainty appearance, The Geisha is an appropriate name for this little girl.
The blade itself is in excellent condition and is by Joseph Rodgers & Sons the other blade and liners are just for comparison
A dainty blade requires some dainty scales the material is MOP on a thin brass liner the spacers in the pearl are navy blue and I will finish them off internally in bright red,I will have to come up with a different method for the collars and washers as the ones I usually make will be too large and look out of place on such a small blade
The markings on the shank are the typical J. Rodgers, however at the end of the stamp there appears to be a name also stamped but in a vertical orientation, I wonder if this could be the actual craftsman that ground the blade, maybe some one has some information regarding this, as it appears it has not been placed there at a later date, any info would be greatly appreciated
I will be using the lead wedge which came with the original scales
I may try to use the original washers as well ,however I`m not sure as yet as the MOP is rather fragile, I`ll work that out when I come to it I guess
    Kind regards Peter

I don't have any info for you, but she's a beautiful blade and the scales look fantastic. Be sure to put up some pics when it's finished!
