Thanked: 0Where to get Scales
Does anyone have a source for scales, pins, spacers, etc. Not looking for anything fancy, but some of the older razors I've been seeing are in need of new scales, and I was curious where I might find them. Is it usually simple to remove the blade from the old scales? Thanks.

Thanked: 13249Jeremy:
Basically 3 different sources are available for scales
Classic shaving has brand new Dovo replacement scales that fit many other razors too
E-bay etc: find an old busted up razor that still has good scales and switch them out to a good blade
Here on SRP there are several of us that make scales to fit yer razor... in various materials
Check out some of the work being done in the Restore Forum and see if any of the Razor-smiths work looks appealing to yer eye and send a PM to that member....

Thanked: 124exoticwoods.com sells 1/4" thick slices of exotic woods. With a coping saw, sandpaper, and patience you can just make scales. I have.
