Default Making Domed Washer - Schematics

Here is one way to make domed washer. I did some reading in the threads and with out pictures, this is a combination of what I pictured in my head and what I made with the tools I had at home.

    1. Drill three holes overlapping into the anvil
      1. 9/64 first
      2. 11/64 about 2-3 washer diameters in depth
      3. 13/64 about 1 washer diameter in depth
    2. Put the 0/0 wide washer into the hole
    3. Push down gently on the washer with the awl and wiggle it around until the washer is domed nicely
      1. Don't wiggle too much or you will end up making the hole big to peen nicely.

I'm pretty sure that what I'm calling an awl actually is an awl (it looks like a screw drive that has been ground down to a conical point). I reckon a fine nail set should work too.

If its possible, I'd like other to show pictures or drawings of what they do. Also, let me know what you think.

    Thanks

    Mark
