Default Removing Pins with a Jeweler's Saw

I got in an order from a jeweler's supply shop today and thought to try to remove some pins from one of my razors. The jeweler's saw worked great to this purpose it was a little tight sliding it inbetween the scales at the shank and by the spacer but I was able to remove the pins without damaging the scales at all. They're pretty thin and delicate scales I think possibly ivory but I'm no master at ID'g may be bone. I did damage the spacer a little bit as it was plastic and I ended up sawing into the spacer while I was removing that pin. Looks like that'll get replaced, better the spacer than the scales though.

I bought it from Gesswein.com - The Right Tools it was pretty cheap here is what I got...

    1881006 - Flat Sawblades 6 - 1 - $4.35
    1871120 - Swiss Sawframe, Adjustable - 1 - $14.25

The site says that it is for professional craftsmen and not intended for people of normal trades they shipped my stuff without issue and I'm no pro. I just put None in for my company and Hobbyist for the occupation slot or whatever when I signed up on there. I also had seen this site: Jewelry Supplies, Jewelry Tools, Jewelry Findings : Otto Frei - About Us : Otto Frei Jewelry Tools, Jewelry Supplies, and Findings but I've never placed an order there yet but I'm sure the same or similar stuff could be found. There were several blade options available for the jeweler's saw, I just got some of the cheap flat blades that worked just fine. I had to grind them down a bit as they were too wide to fit into the sawframe that I bought but that was no problem with the dremel it takes probably less than a minute to do really. I got the adjustable sawframe so if a blade breaks I can still use it in the frame as a smaller blade.

    I also bought these...
    1247052 - Fox Champion Bur - Cup (6-Piece Set) - 1 - $12.55

They're basically little bits that you can use to round off your pins after peening them. I wasn't sure what size might be best so I just bought the set that seemed cheap enough.

Otto Fri is a bit tighter with the restrictions. I am not sure but I think the rules mainly are in place for buying things like finding and such.
