Removing Pins with a Jeweler's Saw
I got in an order from a jeweler's supply shop today and thought to try to remove some pins from one of my razors. The jeweler's saw worked great to this purpose it was a little tight sliding it inbetween the scales at the shank and by the spacer but I was able to remove the pins without damaging the scales at all. They're pretty thin and delicate scales I think possibly ivory but I'm no master at ID'g may be bone. I did damage the spacer a little bit as it was plastic and I ended up sawing into the spacer while I was removing that pin. Looks like that'll get replaced, better the spacer than the scales though.
