Default Cleaning up a DOVO question

    Hey all,

I just picked up a DOVO that is pretty dirty. I know I can sand out all the crud and polish it but how do I avoid damaging the DOVO Logo on the side of the blade with the sandpaper?

    Thanks,

    Doug

Take it slow... be careful. However, you may lose the logo if you are trying to remove all pitting and there is some around or in the logo.

+1 Like Steve said. That's one of the reasons I try to avoid razors with any gold etching or markings. I prefer for a blade to be just plain and shiny.

I like shiny, so I'd just blast it away. With a mirror finish you never have to worry about the gold leaf falling off.

Other than that +1 on what netsurfr said.
