Thanked: 5John Barber Scale Clean Up
Here's a link to my post about my John Barber acquisition.

The razor is in good shape, so I don't want to take it apart. Cleaning up the outside of the scales was very easy, but the inside is rough, with flaking/pealing layers of horn coming off. I would like to get rid of the flaking layers, and sand the insides smooth, but I'm not sure how to do it without taking the razor apart. I don't really want to take it apart because the scales are good, and the pins are nice and tight and look pretty good.
Any suggestions?
