    Default Aluminium + brush knot =.......

    So....
    I wanted a silvertip brush....
    Way too expensive (I'm a cheap bastard!!)
    Solution: Buy a brush knot, then make a little knob!

    This one became a modern variant, things left to do: a little polishing, anodizing glueing.

    Notice: Added grooves in the knot seat to make it sit more secure.

    Scales for my W&B in the same general design to follow!!

    How do you seat the knot in the brush? (a curiousity question) If i'm correct wooden brushes are stapled? How is it done in general?

    I think it looks wonderful! It is a modern aproach to a tradtional item. Good Job

    I've never heard of a knot stapled in place. Most knots are epoxied in.

    All my brushes get glued in. when you bore the pocket you need to give it a 32nd or so over-boar to allow room for the glue.
