pins and scales
Hi
newbe with another silly question but...
I am doing a first restore of a razor that I really like
I am in UK, i need to get some pins and either some really nice wood or other material to make scales
Anyone know whee I can start, can I buy a kit, ready made scales etc

You can order restoration kits from Dovo if you want to go that route. They have bone, plastic, micarta, and wood. I think you can order it from classic shaving as well.

I've got some 1" wide aluminium, 10ba brass bolts, washers and nuts you are welcome to, if you PM me your address.
At a guess the aluminium is roughly 1-2mm (ish) thick. I can put it in a micrometer to get exact size if that's any help yo you?
