Thanked: 13247Shipping razors safely... great idea!!!
This is not my idea, but it was so good I thought I would share...
I received a razor last night for restore work and the razor was packaged so well, and so simply, I decided that I would share the idea...
Instead of using the original razor coffin the razor came in a Plastic Travel Toothbrush Holder....
I know to many of us the original coffins are also collectible, and we don't want them crushed or mangled in the mail, but the razor is way more important, this idea solves both problems.... It is also way safer for the razor then the bubble wrap method....

member max-S sent me a razor wrapped in the foam tubing that's used to isolate heating lines.
For the "forever young" among us: it's the same stuff that was wrapped around your BMX frame back in the days.
Also a very nice idea!

I got myself a roll of bubble wrap that is composed by HUGE bubbles. When I say huge, I mean razor-size huge. One bubble covers the front of the razor and the next bubble covers the back. I then apply tape around the 2 bubbles so that the razor is surrounded by AIR.
It's pretty cool.
