    Default Broken blade

Being new to straights, but loving them I am trying to get a couple of fave razors so I have bought any I see in sales etc
I bought one recently for the scales, the blade had broken - stupid question - do I throw it, use it as a pencil sharpener, or shorten it and make a small razor

I think the grind would be too thin to make a sharpener. I would turn it into a trimming/travel razor.
