    Floppyshoes and I did some Dubl Duck Lifetime "Grim Reaper" restores this is a photo collaboration of how we did them....

    This is how I recieved mine from one of the members here, the scales are actually cracked and have bad scale rot thoughout... The blade as you can see was a mess...

    Lightbulb Tearing it apart:

    Break down was straight forward, after that, you have to save the inlays...
    We use Acetone to actually melt the celluloid scales, and pop the brass inlay's loose..... CAREFULLY!!!!!

    I think I know the answer but....

    Can you use Horn for scales with these type of transfers of the inlays?

    I am thinking no because of having to somehow glue them down?

    You would have to use the "Epoxy Frame" method for the best adhesion, if yer interested fire me a PM and a quick phone convo will make it much easier
