Hello everyone! I received my first project razor today, a Henckels 401 (seen herehttp://straightrazorpalace.com/show-...tml#post265783) and it has the red twins symbol on the tang but some of it is missing. In restoring it what do I use to put the red back on? Special paint? Should i even bother?

also what type of wood would be best for novice such as myself? Something easy to work with but that also looks stunning when finished. Thanks guys!
