00 Brass washers in UK??
Anyone in UK know of a source for Brass Washers 00 ie for 1/16th brass rod for scale fixing

You need to look up model engineering supplies and do an internet search.
You are looking for a size called "BA".
I do not know what the 00 equivalent is but I think its around BA 11 or BA 10.
Incidentally I tried BA 10 nuts bolts and although they look good, they are chunky and the metal has sharp edges.

o are probably the ones, I want to buy brass rod and appropriate washers
I would rather try to make my own along with scales
any ideas?
