    Default Treating bone

If I got hold of a marrow bone. How would I treat it so I could use it as scale material? I recall one article about a year ago on it but I was wondering if anybody has tried it?

The only bone that I have used has been cow bone form the pet store. It is already cleaned.

I did not treat it for hardness, I just smoothed and buffed. I also dyed a few handles.

I am not sure of how the process works to clean and prepare raw bone. I would like to know how though.

    Nice! Thanks.
I saw a much more lengthy process that involved bleaching and all sorts of weird treatments, but it seems that this simple process works no problems.
    Thanks again
