Thanked: 14seeking the approval of my peers
I got a 401 Henckels off ebay as my first project razor and i'm done with the blade :-) I used Bruno's hand sanding how to (http://straightrazorpalace.com/works...ing-howto.html) up to the 2000 grit and then jeweler's rouge and Maas with a felt wheel and dremel Next to move on to the scales :-)
anyway tell me how i did
Before http://straightrazorpalace.com/show-...e-weekend.html
and after if it looks like a scratch, it's not, it's lint :-\ my OCD wouldn't let me leave scratches like that...i did however leave the pivot area as it was :-)
i like how you can tell it's a full hollow from the reflectionLast edited by Detach; 10-13-2008 at 10:56 PM.

From the pics, it looks pretty good!
My only suggestion would be to learn how to use the Macro mode on your camera. Usually depicted by a flower or some such icon. Makes for much better closeups.
