Thanked: 14I would not mind having a pair of those but i'm certain they cary a heft price :-( i would love a pair in kingswood or bloodwood or African Blackwood or heck theres lots! and that's not even in the combos of woods

I paid $300 for my current frames, that would be a reasonable price to pay for someone to make them out of wood. The material limitations of wood are a little overwhelming for me to want to make a set though. It's brittle, so you have to beef it up, which increases the weight. Nice artwork, but hardly practical.
